Eight of Pentacles for Leo in Work and Career
The Creator
Pentacles are the earth suit, so the Eight of Pentacles sits in Capricorn. Capricorn and Leo are quincunx, two signs with nothing in common: no shared element, mode, or polarity. This card will not slot neatly into how Leo already operates. What it wants is this: change one concrete arrangement this week. It has to be done deliberately or it will not happen. Upright, the work is available, and it is repetitive rather than dramatic.
When reading about work through a Leo lens, the Eight of Pentacles says that you feel like work is the place you prove something, something you want to be visibly excellent at (or lead from), and a stage where your effort has an audience. This has either led to genuine excellence backed by real skill, or to chasing the role that looks like the thing instead of doing the thing itself.
