Eight of Pentacles for Virgo in Self and Identity

Pentacles are the earth suit, so the Eight of Pentacles sits in Virgo. That makes this Virgo's own card, so nothing in it is being read from the outside, and the flattering interpretation is the one to distrust. What it asks for is the thing Virgo already believes it is good at: change one concrete arrangement this week. Upright, the work is available, and it is repetitive rather than dramatic.
When reading about yourself through a Virgo lens, the Eight of Pentacles says that you feel like you are a collection of things that could be better, something you monitor constantly (or avoid looking at entirely), and a project that will never be finished. This has either led to genuine self-knowledge and the ability to catch yourself, or to a running list of failures you've memorized.
