Eight of Wandsfor Aquarius
"Speed isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
The card represents motion through the immovable-a flight of wands through an open country; but they draw to the term of their course. Wands represents passion and eight represents movement/cycles. Together this card represents a kind of flow state achieved by being in tune with the universe and moving with it instead of against it.
You are especially receptive to fate and kismet. A bunch of connected events are helping guide you towards your end goal. Perhaps you are invited to go to a woodworking class, at that class you make a new friend and that new friend introduces you to their brother (who is coincidentally the love of your life). Be open to moving quickly and saying yes to things. Follow your passions and joy and don't be afraid to let the universe take the wheel.
Things are not flowing smoothly-- you are having a hard time finishing a task or finding the next one to start. Perhaps a trip got cancelled or a project is delayed. Don't be too frustrated, take this as a sign to slow down and enjoy the small wonders of life. Reconnect with your passions and loved ones.

Eight of Wands for Aquarius
The Visionary
Aquarius is an Air fixed sign ruled by Saturn, whose natural subject is friendship, community, the collective, the long future. Wands are the fire suit, so the Eight of Wands sits in Aries. Aries sextiles Aquarius, which is help that has to be taken up rather than help that arrives. What it asks for is this: spend the energy on one thing today. Aquarius is perfectly capable of that, which is exactly why not doing it needs a better excuse. Aquarius is fixed: it holds on, and this card is about an ending, which is the specific move fixed signs will delay the longest. Fire and Air feed each other, so this card's logic will feel natural here. Natural is not the same as correct. Upright, the work is available, and it is repetitive rather than dramatic.
