Eight of Wandsfor Libra
"Speed isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
The card represents motion through the immovable-a flight of wands through an open country; but they draw to the term of their course. Wands represents passion and eight represents movement/cycles. Together this card represents a kind of flow state achieved by being in tune with the universe and moving with it instead of against it.
You are especially receptive to fate and kismet. A bunch of connected events are helping guide you towards your end goal. Perhaps you are invited to go to a woodworking class, at that class you make a new friend and that new friend introduces you to their brother (who is coincidentally the love of your life). Be open to moving quickly and saying yes to things. Follow your passions and joy and don't be afraid to let the universe take the wheel.
Things are not flowing smoothly-- you are having a hard time finishing a task or finding the next one to start. Perhaps a trip got cancelled or a project is delayed. Don't be too frustrated, take this as a sign to slow down and enjoy the small wonders of life. Reconnect with your passions and loved ones.

Eight of Wands for Libra
The Harmonizer
Libra is an Air cardinal sign ruled by Venus, whose natural subject is partnership, contracts, the other person, open enemies. Wands are the fire suit, so the Eight of Wands sits in Aries. Aries sits directly opposite Libra, so this card describes the half of the situation Libra habitually hands to someone else. What it wants is this: spend the energy on one thing today. Handing that to another person is exactly the habit. Libra is cardinal: it starts things, and this card is about finishing, so the pull will be to begin something new instead. Fire and Air feed each other, so this card's logic will feel natural here. Natural is not the same as correct. Upright, the work is available, and it is repetitive rather than dramatic.
