Six quick picks first, then your reading
Two beggars in a snow-storm pass a richly lighted window. Pentacles represents wealth and the five card represents a challenge. The five of pentacles represents a financial loss, or scarcity mindset.
Look closer.
This card foretells a financial hard time; perhaps a car breakdown or unexpected expense will come up. Maybe your job feels unstable or your partner might be losing their job. It can also mean something is causing scarcity mindset in terms of romantic or platonic relationships (it can hint at infidelity). You feel like you might become destitute (financially or emotionally). Try to not give energy to your fears of loss, and lean on your community to get through a tough time.
You have reversed a poor financial decision and made a comeback-- having to make do with less has taught you a lesson (perhaps who you can lean on or how strong you actually are)
Older decks just showed five coins. Pamela Colman Smith, who drew this 1909 deck, was among the first to paint a full scene for every card.

Five of Pentacles for Cancer in Love and Relationships
The Nurturer
Pentacles are the earth suit, so the Five of Pentacles sits in Capricorn. Capricorn sits directly opposite Cancer, so this card describes the half of the situation Cancer habitually hands to someone else. What it wants is this: change one concrete arrangement this week. Handing that to another person is exactly the habit. Upright, the loss is happening rather than being feared, which is the harder and simpler thing.
When reading about relationships through a Cancer lens, the Five of Pentacles says that you feel like a partner is someone whose silences you learn to read, whose needs you sense before they name them, and who you fear will discover you are not actually that intuitive. This has either kept you carefully managing the relationship to prevent abandonment, or led you to find someone who does their own emotional work and meets you halfway. The thing you're not saying out loud is the thing that matters most. The Cancer blind spot in it is being seen as a burden, or as someone whose needs are too much.
In practice that can look like a shared expense that means something. Whatever form it takes, it is breaking, and the loss in it is real.
