This card represents a person who has 'made it' financially. Someone who knows how to act in order to generate wealth. Money has a corrupting influence and you can see that with this card.
You are placed in a situation where you need to be the financial leader. Either at work or in your personal life. You will be successful as you have all the tools and mastery to handle the job. This card can also mean someone in your life has true domain over wealth. Romantically this card means you need a partner who brings a mastery of finances to the table.
Someone in your life is using their wealth to hold power over you-- perhaps you are stuck in a job you dislike or perhaps you have a family member who is paying for something you need. Perhaps you are feeling a lack of generosity from others or from within yourself. Displays of wealth do not make you rich; being rich does not mean you are generous.

Pentacles are the earth suit, so the King of Pentacles sits in Capricorn. Capricorn and Leo are quincunx, two signs with nothing in common: no shared element, mode, or polarity. This card will not slot neatly into how Leo already operates. What it wants is this: change one concrete arrangement this week. It has to be done deliberately or it will not happen. Upright, this is the element used out in the world, at the cost of still feeling it.
When reading about money through a Leo lens, the King of Pentacles says that you feel like money is for the life that photographs well, for gifts that make an impact (or create a memory), and for belonging in rooms where you are not sure you fit. This has either created generosity that actually changes people's lives, or left you spending to prove something that money cannot actually prove. You have not looked at your full financial picture all at once, and the not-looking costs more than the looking would. The Leo blind spot in it is being ordinary, being forgotten, being the one no one thought to invite, being seen doing something mediocre.
In practice that can look like a number that is finally looked at, or an unexpected bill. Whatever form it takes, it is being decided by whoever holds the authority.
