King of Pentaclesfor Taurus ยท Money and Wealth

"Wealth isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A man sits (somewhat lazily, but perhaps dignified) on a throne and surrounded by lusciousness. Pentacles represent wealth and the king card represents mastery. This card represents a person who has 'made it' financially. Someone who knows how to act in order to generate wealth. Money has a corrupting influence and you can see that with this card.
You are placed in a situation where you need to be the financial leader. Either at work or in your personal life. You will be successful as you have all the tools and mastery to handle the job. This card can also mean someone in your life has true domain over wealth. Romantically this card means you need a partner who brings a mastery of finances to the table.
Someone in your life is using their wealth to hold power over you-- perhaps you are stuck in a job you dislike or perhaps you have a family member who is paying for something you need. Perhaps you are feeling a lack of generosity from others or from within yourself. Displays of wealth do not make you rich; being rich does not mean you are generous.

King of Pentacles for Taurus in Money and Wealth
The Builder
Pentacles are the earth suit, so the King of Pentacles sits in Taurus. That makes this Taurus's own card, so nothing in it is being read from the outside, and the flattering interpretation is the one to distrust. What it asks for is the thing Taurus already believes it is good at: change one concrete arrangement this week. Upright, this is the element used out in the world, at the cost of still feeling it.
When reading about money through a Taurus lens, the King of Pentacles says that you feel like money is proof you will not be abandoned, a problem you solve by having more than you need, and something you do not talk about. This has either meant accumulating without ever feeling safe, or knowing your number and defending it fiercely so you can actually rest. You have not looked at your full financial picture all at once, and the not-looking costs more than the looking would. The Taurus blind spot in it is the feeling that the ground is shifting under something they thought was permanent.
In practice that can look like a number that is finally looked at, or an unexpected bill. Whatever form it takes, it is being decided by whoever holds the authority.
