Queen of Cupsfor Aquarius
"Emotional Intelligence isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
The queen represents the highest form of feminine energy, love and nurturing and protectiveness. Highly tied to the emotions and water-- she's creative and intuitive and above all loving. She's also dreamy and tied to a more psychic power.
With all royal cards, the queen can be an actual person in your life who represents the highest forms of love and nurturing (romantically maybe it's a truly healthy attachment with whom you want to start a life/build a family; perhaps a bond to your own mother is strong or your mom will be a support in your next life phase). The queen can also be an embodiment of your own strong emotions (maybe you are having a baby, or parenting in some way).
The reversed queen of cups means someone is using their control of your emotions to trick you or feed their own ego. Put a little space between you and the person in your life who uses your love of them to feel good about themselves.

Queen of Cups for Aquarius
The Visionary
Aquarius is an Air fixed sign ruled by Saturn, whose natural subject is friendship, community, the collective, the long future. Cups are the water suit, so the Queen of Cups sits in Cancer. Cancer and Aquarius are quincunx, two signs with nothing in common: no shared element, mode, or polarity. This card will not slot neatly into how Aquarius already operates. What it wants is this: say the feeling to the person it is about. It has to be done deliberately or it will not happen. Aquarius is fixed: it holds on, and this card is about an ending, which is the specific move fixed signs will delay the longest. The card and the sign pull in different directions, and the friction is the information. Upright, this is the element held internally, by someone with nothing left to prove about it.
