Page of Cups for Aquarius
The Visionary
Aquarius is an Air fixed sign ruled by Saturn, whose natural subject is friendship, community, the collective, the long future. Cups are the water suit, so the Page of Cups sits in Cancer. Cancer and Aquarius are quincunx, two signs with nothing in common: no shared element, mode, or polarity. This card will not slot neatly into how Aquarius already operates. What it wants is this: say the feeling to the person it is about. It has to be done deliberately or it will not happen. Aquarius is fixed: it holds on, and this card is about an ending, which is the specific move fixed signs will delay the longest. The card and the sign pull in different directions, and the friction is the information. Upright, this is someone at the start of the element: sincere, curious, not yet any good at it.
