Swords are the air suit, so the Seven of Swords sits in Libra. Libra sits directly beside Scorpio, the one relationship a sign cannot see clearly because it is too close to get any distance on. What it asks for is this: write the sentence down and stop rewriting it. The difficulty is noticing it is being asked at all. Upright, the assessment is being made alone, which is where it is easiest to be wrong.
When reading about relationships through a Scorpio lens, the Seven of Swords says that you feel like intimacy is something you test by revealing small secrets and watching what gets repeated (or protected), a gamble where the stakes are everything, and the only way to know if someone stays.
