Strength for Cancer
The Nurturer
Cancer is a Water cardinal sign ruled by Moon, whose natural subject is home, roots, family, the private interior. Sun sits outside Cancer's usual Moon register, so this one arrives as unfamiliar weather. Cancer is cardinal: it starts things, and this card is in the middle, which is the part cardinal signs are worst at staying for. Upright, this has turned inward, to the place where the outer tools stop working.
