The Foolfor Pisces · The Future
"You already know the answer. You're just scared."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A youth on the start of a journey stands precariously on a cliff, but remains free of anxieties. Holding a rose, a small pack, and guided by a dog. They are unperturbed (and perhaps excited) by the cliff they stand on or the trials they will soon face.
Look closer.
Take a leap of faith to start something new and exciting. The past guides us through our inner voice and tells us to find a balance between the known and unknown. Remember, anxiety and excitement can feel the same in the body. Remain open to new experiences and trust in your own wild heart
Something is blocking you from your new adventure: perhaps fear of the unknown, lack of trust in your own intuition, or a true sense of needing more information before moving forward.
The fool card in earlier version of the deck was called 'the jester', evoking the idea of a court jester who can speak truth to a powerful king or someone who follows their own path. From the card imagery we can see that this card also references the Greek trickster god Hermes (notice the gold boots, the wand and the running position).

The Fool for Pisces in The Future
The Dreamer
Uranus works on a longer clock than Neptune-ruled Pisces is used to. Whatever this is, it will not resolve on Pisces's preferred timeline. Upright, nothing has started yet, and that is the actual content of the card rather than a delay in it.
When reading about what comes next through a Pisces lens, the Fool card says that you feel like the future is vivid and real inside your mind, so real it feels like it's already happening, and taking actual steps toward it feels redundant or risky. This has either kept you dreaming without building, waiting for the dream to arrive on its own, or led to you taking wild action based on a vision that dissolves the moment you need to execute. You already know what comes next, and you are afraid of what it will cost you to get there. The Pisces blind spot in it is the moment they have to stop being useful and admit they're drowning.
In practice that can look like a door closing and it mattering, or the next chapter starting without permission. Whatever form it takes, it has not started, which is the whole point of it.
