Six quick picks first, then your reading
A figure sits in balance between their own negative and positive thoughts. They appear in balance with the spirits and the natural highs and lows that come from life's journey. A tapestry of pomegranates behind alludes to fertility
Look closer.
The high priestess sits like an oracle at Delphi, waiting to answer questions with a lot of book knowledge and a strong intuition. Drawing this card means you must take all your knowledge and intuition to act wisely in a situation. There is a coldness to this card, a bit of the alien moon goddess. Notice that both the oracle at delphi and an alien moon goddess are not, themselves, taking actions-- this card can also mean a bit of disconnection between intuition and initiative
You are blocked from your own intuition. Perhaps you value others (or societies) opinions over your own inner voice.
This card had been a reference to the myth of a female Pope (it was originally called The Papess). Hover it was changed to be 'high priestess' based off of a theory that tarot was originally created in ancient Egypt.

The High Priestess for Leo in The Future
The Creator
Moon sits outside Leo's usual Sun register, so this one arrives as unfamiliar weather. Upright, this is happening out in the visible world, where other people can see it and respond to it.
When reading about what comes next through a Leo lens, the High Priestess card says that you feel like the future is something you can script into a highlight reel, something where your name is known (or your work is recognized), and something that should feel like it was always heading toward you. This has either created real ambition that pulls you forward, or left you unable to enjoy the present because it does not yet look like success. You already know what comes next, and you are afraid of what it will cost you to get there. The Leo blind spot in it is being ordinary, being forgotten, being the one no one thought to invite, being seen doing something mediocre.
In practice that can look like a door closing and it mattering, or the next chapter starting without permission. Whatever form it takes, it is happening in the visible world where other people can see it.
