Some early depictions of this card showed him as a juggler balancing the many things in life. However, the magician here is perhaps invoking Merlin more than a juggler. The infinity symbol above his head has been used in mathematics since the 17th century, but the symbol is often referencing the ouroboros (a snake eating it's own tail) or the inner magical knowledge

Mercury against Venus-ruled Libra puts the whole thing into words, which is either the relief or the trap depending on whether Libra then acts on them. Upright, this is happening out in the visible world, where other people can see it and respond to it.
When reading about relationships through a Libra lens, the Magician card says that you feel like your person is a mirror you keep checking to make sure you are still acceptable, a scale where you measure whether you are giving exactly as much as you receive, and something that requires constant small negotiations to keep level. This has either made you a devoted partner who forgets to ask for what they need, or made you someone who can love very deeply precisely because you stopped waiting for permission to have preferences. The thing you're not saying out loud is the thing that matters most. The Libra blind spot in it is being the one who breaks the tie, names the problem, or asks for something first.
In practice that can look like a turning point rather than an incident, or meeting someone who changes the shape of it. Whatever form it takes, it is happening in the visible world where other people can see it.
