The Sunfor Gemini · Work and Career
"You forgot what joy felt like. This is it."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
The sun takes up the whole sky, flowers grow, and the world is clearer than it's been before. The sun burns off the fog of uncertainty and reveals all (unlike the moon which merely shines through the fog). The sun card is based in the hope and joy of the present moment-- you are alive, the sun is shining, and your future awaits.
You have gone to bed one person and woken up a new person. The world around you seems different, the smells are new and the colors are brighter. You are falling in love with your life as you see it in the light of a clear day (perhaps a new love, perhaps seeing an old situation in a new light, start a new hobby that nurtures you)
You are blocked by your own ability to believe that good things are happening for you. Step outside of yourself and look around. Things are looking up!

The Sun for Gemini in Work and Career
The Communicator
Sun is a luminary and Gemini runs on Mercury, so this card lights something up rather than fixing it. It is asking to be seen before it is solved. Upright, this is surfacing whether or not it was invited.
When reading about work through a Gemini lens, the Sun card says that you feel like work is the place you prove you can learn anything fast, a problem to solve before it gets boring, and something you can always trade for the next interesting angle (or stay in if the conversation keeps surprising you). This has either led to real expertise across unexpected domains or to a resume that reads like someone with too many browser tabs open and none of them fully loaded. You have not asked yourself what you actually want from this work, only what you think you should want from it. The Gemini blind spot in it is stillness, silence, the moment when talking stops and you have to feel what you actually feel, the weight of having chosen one thing and not the other.
In practice that can look like a change large enough to reorganise the rest, or the job becoming a different job. Whatever form it takes, it is surfacing whether or not it was invited.
