The Sunfor Aries · Work and Career
"You forgot what joy felt like. This is it."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
The sun takes up the whole sky, flowers grow, and the world is clearer than it's been before. The sun burns off the fog of uncertainty and reveals all (unlike the moon which merely shines through the fog). The sun card is based in the hope and joy of the present moment-- you are alive, the sun is shining, and your future awaits.
You have gone to bed one person and woken up a new person. The world around you seems different, the smells are new and the colors are brighter. You are falling in love with your life as you see it in the light of a clear day (perhaps a new love, perhaps seeing an old situation in a new light, start a new hobby that nurtures you)
You are blocked by your own ability to believe that good things are happening for you. Step outside of yourself and look around. Things are looking up!

The Sun for Aries in Work and Career
The Initiator
Sun is a luminary and Aries runs on Mars, so this card lights something up rather than fixing it. It is asking to be seen before it is solved. Upright, this is surfacing whether or not it was invited.
When reading about work through an Aries lens, the Sun card says that you feel like work is the place you prove you are not wasting time, a problem to solve fast (or escape), and something that only matters if you can see the finish line tomorrow. This has either led to building something from nothing in record time or to leaving behind half-finished things because the sprint ended and the marathon scared you. You have not asked yourself what you actually want from this work, only what you think you should want from it. The Aries blind spot in it is the feeling that nothing you do makes any difference, that you are not the center of the story.
In practice that can look like a change large enough to reorganise the rest, or the job becoming a different job. Whatever form it takes, it is surfacing whether or not it was invited.
