Mars sits outside Cancer's usual Moon register, so this one arrives as unfamiliar weather. Upright, this is surfacing whether or not it was invited.
When reading about yourself through a Cancer lens, the Tower card says that you feel like you are only acceptable when you are useful, your body is something that wants too much (or needs too much), and your own feelings are something to handle in private. This has either made you excellent at ignoring your own pain until it becomes a crisis, or taught you that being gentle with yourself is not selfish. You have been so focused on who you think you should be that you haven't checked in with who you actually are. The Cancer blind spot in it is being seen as a burden, or as someone whose needs are too much.
In practice that can look like something you cannot un-see about yourself, or a season ending. Whatever form it takes, it is surfacing whether or not it was invited.
Something is about to shake loose. The Tower brings sudden change that can feel catastrophic, but it only destroys what was built on illusion. What remains after the tower falls is the truth. Trust it.
You may be sensing that something unstable is about to break, or you are avoiding a necessary confrontation with truth. The Tower inverted can also mean the worst has passed and you are in the rebuilding phase.
Something you thought was solid came apart, and you rebuilt. The Tower in the past points to a rupture — a job, a belief, a relationship, a self-image — whose collapse cleared space for what's actually true. The foundation you stand on now is the part that didn't fall.
Something is cracking, and the cracking is honest. The Tower in the present asks you to stop shoring up what's already gone and let the lightning do its work. What remains after the dust settles is the part worth keeping.
