The tower signifies a breakdown-- like a coup of sorts. You are literally being thrown out of the tower you once called your home. While traditionally a negative card, sometimes you need a big change to reorient your whole life
Take this to heart, something was wrong and the universe is metaphorically blowing your life up for you, what you do in the aftermath is up to you. Perhaps a relationship ended (but maybe it was toxic the whole time), perhaps you were fired (but your free to pursue your true passion), perhaps it's a litany of things, but have faith in yourself and rebuild with your true goals and values at heart.
The universe is trying to guide you to make a radical change, but you are blocked from taking that guidance. Perhaps the clues from the universe are less obvious or perhaps you have an iron sense of will. Some things in life are meant to be hard, but you know the difference between doing a hard thing and doing something not meant for you. Use that judgment here; otherwise you are not living your own truth

When reading about relationships through a Cancer lens, the Tower card says that you feel like a partner is someone whose silences you learn to read, whose needs you sense before they name them, and who you fear will discover you are not actually that intuitive. This has either kept you carefully managing the relationship to prevent abandonment, or led you to find someone who does their own emotional work and meets you halfway. The thing you're not saying out loud is the thing that matters most. The Cancer blind spot in it is being seen as a burden, or as someone whose needs are too much.
In practice that can look like a turning point rather than an incident, or meeting someone who changes the shape of it. Whatever form it takes, it is surfacing whether or not it was invited.
