Why do I keep pulling Three of Pentacles as a Scorpio?

As a Scorpio, pulling Three of Pentacles repeatedly suggests a focus on teamwork and collaboration. Intensity, power, shadow, regeneration. Pay attention to: holding onto control.

Upright

TeamworkCollaborationSkillCraftsmanship

You are working on something truly outstanding with great people. Romantically maybe a new friend is leading you to meet cool new people or you found a new hobby that you are excelling at. Lean into the newness (even if you are intimidated); it will pay off in the end.

Reversed

You're blocked by a lack of confidence in your own skills. Perhaps your skills have not matched your expectations OR your own brain is getting in your way. Set aside some time to listen to yourself and try to be honest: are you really not at the level you want OR is your own anxiety getting in your way. Breathe into either, neither are a failure on your part.

SuitPentacles · Earth

Pentacles are the suit of Earth: matter and time. A Pentacles card is always, underneath, about the body, the money, the calendar, the actual physical situation.

NumberThree

The numbers tell a story inside each suit, from a seed at the Ace to the full expression at Ten. Three is first expression outward: it becomes visible to other people and stops being private.

Three of Pentacles for Scorpio

The Transformer

Scorpio is a Water fixed sign ruled by Mars, whose natural subject is shared resources, other people's money, death, sex, what is hidden. Pentacles are the earth suit, so the Three of Pentacles sits in Capricorn. Capricorn sextiles Scorpio, which is help that has to be taken up rather than help that arrives. What it asks for is this: change one concrete arrangement this week. Scorpio is perfectly capable of that, which is exactly why not doing it needs a better excuse. Scorpio is fixed: it holds on, and this is a card about beginning, so the resistance shows up before anything has even been asked. Earth and Water feed each other, so this card's logic will feel natural here. Natural is not the same as correct. Upright, it has become visible to other people, which is the part that makes it real.
