Why do I keep pulling Three of Pentacles as a Capricorn?

As a Capricorn, pulling Three of Pentacles repeatedly suggests a focus on teamwork and collaboration. Ambition, structure, legacy, isolation. Pay attention to: sacrificing joy for achievement.

Upright

TeamworkCollaborationSkillCraftsmanship

You are working on something truly outstanding with great people. Romantically maybe a new friend is leading you to meet cool new people or you found a new hobby that you are excelling at. Lean into the newness (even if you are intimidated); it will pay off in the end.

Reversed

You're blocked by a lack of confidence in your own skills. Perhaps your skills have not matched your expectations OR your own brain is getting in your way. Set aside some time to listen to yourself and try to be honest: are you really not at the level you want OR is your own anxiety getting in your way. Breathe into either, neither are a failure on your part.

SuitPentacles · Earth

Pentacles are the suit of Earth: matter and time. A Pentacles card is always, underneath, about the body, the money, the calendar, the actual physical situation.

NumberThree

The numbers tell a story inside each suit, from a seed at the Ace to the full expression at Ten. Three is first expression outward: it becomes visible to other people and stops being private.

Three of Pentacles for Capricorn

The Architect

Capricorn is an Earth cardinal sign ruled by Saturn, whose natural subject is career, public standing, authority, legacy. Pentacles are the earth suit, so the Three of Pentacles sits in Capricorn. That makes this Capricorn's own card, so nothing in it is being read from the outside, and the flattering interpretation is the one to distrust. What it asks for is the thing Capricorn already believes it is good at: change one concrete arrangement this week. Capricorn is cardinal: it starts things, and this is a card about starting, so the danger is starting again instead of continuing. Earth meeting its own element is amplification, which raises the sign's strengths and its usual failure by the same amount. Upright, it has become visible to other people, which is the part that makes it real.
