"Heartbreak isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
Three swords piercing a heart; cloud and rain behind. Swords represents knowledge and the three card represents collaboration. Together these cards mean a lot of incoming thoughts and ideas (not all positive) are coming at you from yourself and others.
You are dealing with cyclical thoughts and intense emotions related to a change you made recently (perhaps a breakup or a fight with a friend/parent or a project went poorly). Perhaps friends/family/exes are disappointed in you and letting you know. If you hold emotions in your chest-- imagine spreading the emotion to your thighs, hands, feet and giving your heart a breather.
You are blocked by your fear of pain. Making mistakes and messing up is a part of life. You have the tools to handle sadness. Sometimes grieving things and giving them their time allows you to move on.

Three of Swords for Aries in Work and Career
The Initiator
Swords are the air suit, so the Three of Swords sits in Libra. Libra sits directly opposite Aries, so this card describes the half of the situation Aries habitually hands to someone else. What it wants is this: write the sentence down and stop rewriting it. Handing that to another person is exactly the habit. Upright, it has become visible to other people, which is the part that makes it real.
When reading about work through an Aries lens, the Three of Swords says that you feel like work is the place you prove you are not wasting time, a problem to solve fast (or escape), and something that only matters if you can see the finish line tomorrow. This has either led to building something from nothing in record time or to leaving behind half-finished things because the sprint ended and the marathon scared you. You have not asked yourself what you actually want from this work, only what you think you should want from it. The Aries blind spot in it is the feeling that nothing you do makes any difference, that you are not the center of the story.
In practice that can look like a hard conversation with a manager. Whatever form it takes, it is about to become visible to other people.
