"Partnership isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
Cups represent emotions, love, and feelings. The two of cups is about a connection that already feels steady, coming into a new age of emotional connection and balance.
The feelings are mutual, you are on the same page and you are making prolonged eye contact. In love and romance this is a steamy card about connecting with another person on a deep level, but it can be a partnership outside of the romantic
Something is off balance in a key relationship. Some ruptures can be healed, but pay attention as this card is a sign that a breakup or ending might be what's needed in the long term.

Two of Cups for Cancer in Health and Energy
The Nurturer
Cups are the water suit, so the Two of Cups sits in Cancer. That makes this Cancer's own card, so nothing in it is being read from the outside, and the flattering interpretation is the one to distrust. What it asks for is the thing Cancer already believes it is good at: say the feeling to the person it is about. Upright, the second thing has actually arrived and the negotiation between them is live.
When reading about health through a Cancer lens, the Two of Cups says that you feel like your body holds what you will not say out loud, rest feels like abandonment (or like you are letting people down), and you know something is wrong before any test confirms it. This has either made you chronically tense and dismissive of your own pain, or taught you to listen when your gut tells you to stop. The body has been sending the same signal for months and nobody has bothered to listen. The Cancer blind spot in it is being seen as a burden, or as someone whose needs are too much.
In practice that can look like a stress that shows up in the body. Whatever form it takes, it is becoming a two person situation.
