Wheel of Fortune tarot card

"This too shall pass. And so will the next thing."

Six quick picks first, then your reading

On the card

The wheel symbolizes the role of chance/fate/luck plays in our life. It also shows us that life can feel like a wheel, things can often come in cycles. While we may have seen the wheel spin before, we can't always control where it lands

Upright
CyclesFateChangeTurning Points

Something out of your control has caused a change in your life (maybe a chance encounter, a windfall, etc), embrace your emotions, follow the joy, and let it guide you through a big change.

Reversed

You are trying to control things that are not within your power to control (they are up to fate). Obsessively focusing on things we can't control rewires our brains. Don't be afraid to move on from an emotion or situation that's not serving you

Its place in the deck.

Major ArcanaCard 10
One of the 22 Major Arcana. They point to the large themes and turning points in a life, not the day to day. When one comes up, the reading is about something bigger than this week.
StageThe turn inward
After the Fool, the Major Arcana run in three stages of seven: the outer world (1 to 7), the turn inward (8 to 14) and the return (15 to 21). This one is in the turn inward: the point where the tools that worked outside stop working.

Wheel of Fortune for Aries in Self and Identity

The Initiator

Jupiter against Mars-ruled Aries is relief showing up somewhere Aries had already accepted the difficulty. The suspicion of easy things is part of the pattern here. Upright, this has turned inward, to the place where the outer tools stop working.

When reading about yourself through an Aries lens, the Wheel of Fortune says that you feel like your body is a machine to prove something with, a problem to outrun (or overcome), and the only thing you trust because it does what you tell it to. This has either made you physically strong and brave enough to try what others won't, or left you injured and angry at your own body for not cooperating with your will. You have been so focused on who you think you should be that you haven't checked in with who you actually are. The Aries blind spot in it is the feeling that nothing you do makes any difference, that you are not the center of the story.

In practice that can look like something you cannot un-see about yourself, or a season ending. Whatever form it takes, it is turning inward, where the usual moves stop working.
