Ace of Cupsfor Aries
"New Love isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
Cups represent emotions, love, and feelings. The ace of cups, as the first card in the suit, represents a new love just beginning its emotional journey. Untested, but excited!
You are at the start of a new journey, some form of new love has come into your life (be it a new connection, a new pet, a new lover, or a new take on a love that's existed before). Be open to new things and see the world with rose colored glasses!
You over focused on something new, and neglected your self. You've depleted your own emotional cup and need to spend some time filling it up again. Perhaps a new love did not go as you hoped and you must start the healing process before you begin again.

Ace of Cups for Aries
The Initiator
Aries is a Fire cardinal sign ruled by Mars, whose natural subject is the self, the body, first impressions. Cups are the water suit, so the Ace of Cups sits in Cancer. Cancer squares Aries, so the card asks for the move Aries is least fluent in: say the feeling to the person it is about. The friction is the content, not an obstacle to it. Aries is cardinal: it starts things, and this is a card about starting, so the danger is starting again instead of continuing. The card asks for feeling where the sign is built to do something about it instead. An ace is a seed rather than a result. Upright it means the thing is genuinely available and completely untested.
