Deathfor Sagittarius · The Future
"It's not over. It's composting."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
Don't fear the death card, a skull knight rides a white horse across a battlefield. The card seems grim, but the death card means a new beginning as much as it means something coming to end. Think persephone and hades more than the grim reaper. Or the death of winter leading to spring.
You are facing an ending or a big transition. Will it be a phoenix rising from the ashes or the start of something new. Some trees only grow in the wake of a forest fire. Accept this part of the process of life and let the loss wash over you. This part of the cycle has ended, but a new one always begins
You are energetically blocked by something from your past. Holding onto it is causing you more pain than you know. Everyone fears loss, but, alas, we cannot go through life without it. Feel the grief flow through you, but don't let it trap you in a place you don't belong
Its place in the deck.
Where it shows up.
Death for Sagittarius in The Future
The Seeker
Pluto works on a longer clock than Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius is used to. Whatever this is, it will not resolve on Sagittarius's preferred timeline. Upright, this has turned inward, to the place where the outer tools stop working.
When reading about what comes next through a Sagittarius lens, the Death says that you feel like the future is wide open and full of possibility, something you can reshape as soon as this version stops fitting, and a reason not to get too attached to right now. This has either kept you optimistic and willing to pivot or has left you unable to commit to any single future long enough to make it real. You already know what comes next, and you are afraid of what it will cost you to get there. The Sagittarius blind spot in it is the specific weight of a single commitment, the slowness of actually building something, the possibility that it might not be enough.
In practice that can look like a door closing and it mattering, or the next chapter starting without permission. Whatever form it takes, it is turning inward, where the usual moves stop working.
