Someone (or yourself) is upholding the emotional wellbeing of you and those around you. A gentle forcefulness or protective energy around your heart. Unlike the queen of cups, the king represents a more active role (instead of nurturing/healing it's more about setting boundaries and moving forward).

Reversed

A malevolent force in your life, aware of the occult and intentionally taking actions against you. Perhaps a roguish figure who has two emotional lives that do not overlap. Avoid vices and scandal or people associated with them.

King of Cups for Leo in Money and Wealth

The Creator

Cups are the water suit, so the King of Cups sits in Cancer. Cancer sits directly beside Leo, the one relationship a sign cannot see clearly because it is too close to get any distance on. What it asks for is this: say the feeling to the person it is about. The difficulty is noticing it is being asked at all. Upright, this is the element used out in the world, at the cost of still feeling it.

When reading about money through a Leo lens, the King of Cups says that you feel like money is for the life that photographs well, for gifts that make an impact (or create a memory), and for belonging in rooms where you are not sure you fit. This has either created generosity that actually changes people's lives, or left you spending to prove something that money cannot actually prove. You have not looked at your full financial picture all at once, and the not-looking costs more than the looking would. The Leo blind spot in it is being ordinary, being forgotten, being the one no one thought to invite, being seen doing something mediocre.

In practice that can look like a gift that complicates things. Whatever form it takes, it is being decided by whoever holds the authority.
