"Emotional Balance isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
The king represents taking action on matters of love and emotion. A masculine energy, the king represent fire and water and dominion over the emotional plain.
Someone (or yourself) is upholding the emotional wellbeing of you and those around you. A gentle forcefulness or protective energy around your heart. Unlike the queen of cups, the king represents a more active role (instead of nurturing/healing it's more about setting boundaries and moving forward).
A malevolent force in your life, aware of the occult and intentionally taking actions against you. Perhaps a roguish figure who has two emotional lives that do not overlap. Avoid vices and scandal or people associated with them.

King of Cups for Aquarius in Money and Wealth
The Visionary
Cups are the water suit, so the King of Cups sits in Cancer. Cancer and Aquarius are quincunx, two signs with nothing in common: no shared element, mode, or polarity. This card will not slot neatly into how Aquarius already operates. What it wants is this: say the feeling to the person it is about. It has to be done deliberately or it will not happen. Upright, this is the element used out in the world, at the cost of still feeling it.
When reading about money through an Aquarius lens, the King of Cups says that you feel like money is a tool that should not matter but does, something you hold loosely so it cannot hold you, and a number that never feels safe enough. This has either meant you accumulated plenty without ever enjoying it, or you spent it all on people and causes you believed in. You have not looked at your full financial picture all at once, and the not-looking costs more than the looking would. The Aquarius blind spot in it is being ordinary, or worse, being needed in a way that pins them down.
In practice that can look like a gift that complicates things. Whatever form it takes, it is being decided by whoever holds the authority.
