The Hierophant for Leo
The Creator
Leo is a Fire fixed sign ruled by Sun, whose natural subject is creativity, romance, play, being seen doing the thing. Jupiter sits outside Leo's usual Sun register, so this one arrives as unfamiliar weather. Leo is fixed: it holds on, and this is a card about beginning, so the resistance shows up before anything has even been asked. Upright, this is happening out in the visible world, where other people can see it and respond to it.
