"Emotional Balance isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
The king represents taking action on matters of love and emotion. A masculine energy, the king represent fire and water and dominion over the emotional plain.
Someone (or yourself) is upholding the emotional wellbeing of you and those around you. A gentle forcefulness or protective energy around your heart. Unlike the queen of cups, the king represents a more active role (instead of nurturing/healing it's more about setting boundaries and moving forward).
A malevolent force in your life, aware of the occult and intentionally taking actions against you. Perhaps a roguish figure who has two emotional lives that do not overlap. Avoid vices and scandal or people associated with them.

King of Cups for Pisces in Money and Wealth
The Dreamer
Cups are the water suit, so the King of Cups sits in Pisces. That makes this Pisces's own card, so nothing in it is being read from the outside, and the flattering interpretation is the one to distrust. What it asks for is the thing Pisces already believes it is good at: say the feeling to the person it is about. Upright, this is the element used out in the world, at the cost of still feeling it.
When reading about money through a Pisces lens, the King of Cups says that you feel like money is something you're afraid to look at directly, a problem you can solve by not thinking about it, and something tied to whether you deserve to take up space at all. This has either left you in financial chaos that someone else eventually rescues you from, or made you hoard quietly because scarcity feels like the only thing you can control. You have not looked at your full financial picture all at once, and the not-looking costs more than the looking would. The Pisces blind spot in it is the moment they have to stop being useful and admit they're drowning.
In practice that can look like a gift that complicates things. Whatever form it takes, it is being decided by whoever holds the authority.
