Page of Cups for Aries
The Initiator
Aries is a Fire cardinal sign ruled by Mars, whose natural subject is the self, the body, first impressions. Cups are the water suit, so the Page of Cups sits in Cancer. Cancer squares Aries, so the card asks for the move Aries is least fluent in: say the feeling to the person it is about. The friction is the content, not an obstacle to it. Aries is cardinal: it starts things, and this card is about finishing, so the pull will be to begin something new instead. The card asks for feeling where the sign is built to do something about it instead. Upright, this is someone at the start of the element: sincere, curious, not yet any good at it.
