Page of Cups for Sagittarius
The Seeker
Sagittarius is a Fire mutable sign ruled by Jupiter, whose natural subject is meaning, travel, belief, the long view, higher study. Cups are the water suit, so the Page of Cups sits in Cancer. Cancer and Sagittarius are quincunx, two signs with nothing in common: no shared element, mode, or polarity. This card will not slot neatly into how Sagittarius already operates. What it wants is this: say the feeling to the person it is about. It has to be done deliberately or it will not happen. Sagittarius is mutable: it adapts, and this card is about completion, which asks the one thing mutable signs resist, which is settling on a final form. The card asks for feeling where the sign is built to do something about it instead. Upright, this is someone at the start of the element: sincere, curious, not yet any good at it.
