Seven of Swordsfor Aries · Money and Wealth

"Deception isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A man in the act of carrying away five swords rapidly; the two others of the card remain stuck in the ground. Swords represent knowledge and seven represents trickery. Together this card represents a bit of a hair brained scheme.
Be careful, a trickster is at play. Perhaps romantically someone says exactly what you want to hear, but does not mean what they say in their heart. Perhaps you are tricking yourself into doing something that you know isn't aligned with your values. Either way, be honest with yourself about what you actually want and need; don't resort to tricks to get there.
Your plan is backfiring, you had a strategy and were executing on it, but it is just not working. You might have to be honest about your own shortcomings and see what you can do to change. People are not trying to hurt you, but your plan is not going as expected. Regroup and move forward with earnestness.

Seven of Swords for Aries in Money and Wealth
The Initiator
Swords are the air suit, so the Seven of Swords sits in Libra. Libra sits directly opposite Aries, so this card describes the half of the situation Aries habitually hands to someone else. What it wants is this: write the sentence down and stop rewriting it. Handing that to another person is exactly the habit. Upright, the assessment is being made alone, which is where it is easiest to be wrong.
When reading about money through an Aries lens, the Seven of Swords says that you feel like money is the thing you need to move forward, a problem to solve immediately (or spend away), and something that only matters if it is stopping you from doing the next thing. This has either made you resourceful enough to start with nothing and build fast, or left you broke from betting on yourself before you were ready. You have not looked at your full financial picture all at once, and the not-looking costs more than the looking would. The Aries blind spot in it is the feeling that nothing you do makes any difference, that you are not the center of the story.
In practice that can look like reading the actual number, or a decision made on paper instead of in your head. Whatever form it takes, it is being weighed alone, where it is easiest to lie to yourself.
