Seven of Swordsfor Libra · Money and Wealth

"Deception isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A man in the act of carrying away five swords rapidly; the two others of the card remain stuck in the ground. Swords represent knowledge and seven represents trickery. Together this card represents a bit of a hair brained scheme.
Be careful, a trickster is at play. Perhaps romantically someone says exactly what you want to hear, but does not mean what they say in their heart. Perhaps you are tricking yourself into doing something that you know isn't aligned with your values. Either way, be honest with yourself about what you actually want and need; don't resort to tricks to get there.
Your plan is backfiring, you had a strategy and were executing on it, but it is just not working. You might have to be honest about your own shortcomings and see what you can do to change. People are not trying to hurt you, but your plan is not going as expected. Regroup and move forward with earnestness.

Seven of Swords for Libra in Money and Wealth
The Harmonizer
Swords are the air suit, so the Seven of Swords sits in Libra. That makes this Libra's own card, so nothing in it is being read from the outside, and the flattering interpretation is the one to distrust. What it asks for is the thing Libra already believes it is good at: write the sentence down and stop rewriting it. Upright, the assessment is being made alone, which is where it is easiest to be wrong.
When reading about money through a Libra lens, the Seven of Swords says that you feel like money is something to split evenly so no one feels short, a way to keep yourself in good standing with people you care about, and something too uncomfortable to discuss directly so you hint and hope. This has either led you to give away more than you can afford and resent it quietly, or to finally name a price and discover that the people worth keeping will actually pay it. You have not looked at your full financial picture all at once, and the not-looking costs more than the looking would. The Libra blind spot in it is being the one who breaks the tie, names the problem, or asks for something first.
In practice that can look like reading the actual number, or a decision made on paper instead of in your head. Whatever form it takes, it is being weighed alone, where it is easiest to lie to yourself.
