Ten of Pentacles for Aries in Work and Career
The Initiator
Pentacles are the earth suit, so the Ten of Pentacles sits in Capricorn. Capricorn squares Aries, so the card asks for the move Aries is least fluent in: change one concrete arrangement this week. The friction is the content, not an obstacle to it. Upright, it is complete, which is not automatically the same as good.
When reading about work through an Aries lens, the Ten of Pentacles says that you feel like work is the place you prove you are not wasting time, a problem to solve fast (or escape), and something that only matters if you can see the finish line tomorrow. This has either led to building something from nothing in record time or to leaving behind half-finished things because the sprint ended and the marathon scared you. You have not asked yourself what you actually want from this work, only what you think you should want from it. The Aries blind spot in it is the feeling that nothing you do makes any difference, that you are not the center of the story.
In practice that can look like a contract landing. Whatever form it takes, it is completing, possibly past the point it was useful.
