Pentacles are the earth suit, so the Ten of Pentacles sits in Capricorn. Capricorn sextiles Scorpio, which is help that has to be taken up rather than help that arrives. What it asks for is this: change one concrete arrangement this week. Scorpio is perfectly capable of that, which is exactly why not doing it needs a better excuse. Upright, it is complete, which is not automatically the same as good.
When reading about work through a Scorpio lens, the Ten of Pentacles says that you feel like work is where you need to know the financial truth before anyone else does, a problem to solve (or a power to hold), and something you will not announce until you are certain. This has either led to you becoming the person who understands the money and the leverage, or to you refusing to enter the room where decisions are made. You have not asked yourself what you actually want from this work, only what you think you should want from it. The Scorpio blind spot in it is the feeling of being fooled, or of being seen as naive, or of depending on someone who will leave.
