Six quick picks first, then your reading
A chariot carries an egyptian across the desert. The chariot is the vehicle that helps us move swiftly into action, we guide the chariot but it takes us on the journey as it sees fit.
Things are moving forward (with or without your input), to guide yourself you need decisive movements and high focus. You must be sure of your footing or the fast movement will unbalance you
You are overwhelmed by the world unfolding around you-- without clear direction you are speeding in an unknown direction

The Chariot for Aries
The Initiator
Aries is a Fire cardinal sign ruled by Mars, whose natural subject is the self, the body, first impressions. Mars rules Aries, so this card is not describing an outside force. It is describing Aries to itself, which is why there is no distance in it. Aries is cardinal: it starts things, and this is a card about starting, so the danger is starting again instead of continuing. Upright, this is happening out in the visible world, where other people can see it and respond to it.
