"Willpower without direction is just exhaustion."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A chariot carries an egyptian across the desert. The chariot is the vehicle that helps us move swiftly into action, we guide the chariot but it takes us on the journey as it sees fit.
Things are moving forward (with or without your input), to guide yourself you need decisive movements and high focus. You must be sure of your footing or the fast movement will unbalance you
You are overwhelmed by the world unfolding around you-- without clear direction you are speeding in an unknown direction

The Chariot for Leo in The Future
The Creator
Mars sits outside Leo's usual Sun register, so this one arrives as unfamiliar weather. Upright, this is happening out in the visible world, where other people can see it and respond to it.
When reading about what comes next through a Leo lens, the Chariot card says that you feel like the future is something you can script into a highlight reel, something where your name is known (or your work is recognized), and something that should feel like it was always heading toward you. This has either created real ambition that pulls you forward, or left you unable to enjoy the present because it does not yet look like success. You already know what comes next, and you are afraid of what it will cost you to get there. The Leo blind spot in it is being ordinary, being forgotten, being the one no one thought to invite, being seen doing something mediocre.
In practice that can look like a door closing and it mattering, or the next chapter starting without permission. Whatever form it takes, it is happening in the visible world where other people can see it.
