One of the 22 Major Arcana. They point to the large themes and turning points in a life, not the day to day. When one comes up, the reading is about something bigger than this week.
StageThe outer world
After the Fool, the Major Arcana run in three stages of seven: the outer world (1 to 7), the turn inward (8 to 14) and the return (15 to 21). This one is in the outer world: building a workable self out of will, learning and structure.

The Chariot for Leo in Love and Relationships

The Creator

Mars sits outside Leo's usual Sun register, so this one arrives as unfamiliar weather. Upright, this is happening out in the visible world, where other people can see it and respond to it.

When reading about relationships through a Leo lens, the Chariot card says that you feel like love is something you give in grand gestures and then measure back in kind, something that should feel like being chosen (or being enough), and something you do not know how to do quietly. This has either created partnerships where both people show up fully visible, or left you wondering if anyone would love you if you stopped performing. The thing you're not saying out loud is the thing that matters most. The Leo blind spot in it is being ordinary, being forgotten, being the one no one thought to invite, being seen doing something mediocre.

In practice that can look like a turning point rather than an incident, or meeting someone who changes the shape of it. Whatever form it takes, it is happening in the visible world where other people can see it.
