The Devilfor Aries · Work and Career
"You're not stuck. You just think the chains are locked."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
The devil card represents our inner demons; he's often in a fiery pit with a kind of subversion of the garden of eden where adam and eve are chained to him. The devil reminds us of our potential salvation, while trying to shackle us to our fears that we will never be worthy of it
You are in a hell, and it's partly of your own making. The situation might be dire, but you deserve better and part of you knows it. Perhaps you are ruminating, calling an ex, or doing some other unhealthy coping mechanism to help the pain you feel inside. Focus on healing your inner child and wounds instead and your problems should become more manageable.
You've done the hard work to face the parts of yourself that you might not like. You dodged a bullet and made the healthy choice even though you were tempted to fall back into old patterns

The Devil for Aries in Work and Career
The Initiator
Saturn and Mars are both demanding planets, so this lands on a sign already used to carrying weight. The risk is treating more pressure as normal rather than as information. Upright, this is surfacing whether or not it was invited.
When reading about work through an Aries lens, the Devil card says that you feel like work is the place you prove you are not wasting time, a problem to solve fast (or escape), and something that only matters if you can see the finish line tomorrow. This has either led to building something from nothing in record time or to leaving behind half-finished things because the sprint ended and the marathon scared you. You have not asked yourself what you actually want from this work, only what you think you should want from it. The Aries blind spot in it is the feeling that nothing you do makes any difference, that you are not the center of the story.
In practice that can look like a change large enough to reorganise the rest, or the job becoming a different job. Whatever form it takes, it is surfacing whether or not it was invited.
