Venus sits outside Cancer's usual Moon register, so this one arrives as unfamiliar weather. Upright, this is happening out in the visible world, where other people can see it and respond to it.
When reading about money through a Cancer lens, the Lovers card says that you feel like money is safety and security you must earn by being indispensable, spending on others proves you are not selfish, and your own comfort feels like taking from someone else.
