While peaceful and at one with their world, they are also creating magic, creating something out of nothing. Their insight acts as a conduit: they bridge the gap between yourself and the divine creative.

Some early depictions of this card showed him as a juggler balancing the many things in life. However, the magician here is perhaps invoking Merlin more than a juggler. The infinity symbol above his head has been used in mathematics since the 17th century, but the symbol is often referencing the ouroboros (a snake eating it's own tail) or the inner magical knowledge

The Visionary
Mercury against Uranus-ruled Aquarius puts the whole thing into words, which is either the relief or the trap depending on whether Aquarius then acts on them. Upright, this is happening out in the visible world, where other people can see it and respond to it.
When reading about yourself through an Aquarius lens, the Magician card says that you feel like your own mind is the most reliable thing you have, a maze you navigate alone, and a machine that works better when you are not feeling too much. This has either made you brilliantly self-sufficient, or cut you off from the one thing that might actually change you. You have been so focused on who you think you should be that you haven't checked in with who you actually are. The Aquarius blind spot in it is being ordinary, or worse, being needed in a way that pins them down.
In practice that can look like something you cannot un-see about yourself, or a season ending. Whatever form it takes, it is happening in the visible world where other people can see it.
