The Sunfor Cancer · Health and Energy
"You forgot what joy felt like. This is it."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
The sun takes up the whole sky, flowers grow, and the world is clearer than it's been before. The sun burns off the fog of uncertainty and reveals all (unlike the moon which merely shines through the fog). The sun card is based in the hope and joy of the present moment-- you are alive, the sun is shining, and your future awaits.
You have gone to bed one person and woken up a new person. The world around you seems different, the smells are new and the colors are brighter. You are falling in love with your life as you see it in the light of a clear day (perhaps a new love, perhaps seeing an old situation in a new light, start a new hobby that nurtures you)
You are blocked by your own ability to believe that good things are happening for you. Step outside of yourself and look around. Things are looking up!

The Sun for Cancer in Health and Energy
The Nurturer
Sun sits outside Cancer's usual Moon register, so this one arrives as unfamiliar weather. Upright, this is surfacing whether or not it was invited.
When reading about health through a Cancer lens, the Sun card says that you feel like your body holds what you will not say out loud, rest feels like abandonment (or like you are letting people down), and you know something is wrong before any test confirms it. This has either made you chronically tense and dismissive of your own pain, or taught you to listen when your gut tells you to stop. The body has been sending the same signal for months and nobody has bothered to listen. The Cancer blind spot in it is being seen as a burden, or as someone whose needs are too much.
In practice that can look like the body making the decision for you, or a genuine reset. Whatever form it takes, it is surfacing whether or not it was invited.
