King of Cupsfor Virgo · Health and Energy
"Emotional Balance isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
The king represents taking action on matters of love and emotion. A masculine energy, the king represent fire and water and dominion over the emotional plain.
Someone (or yourself) is upholding the emotional wellbeing of you and those around you. A gentle forcefulness or protective energy around your heart. Unlike the queen of cups, the king represents a more active role (instead of nurturing/healing it's more about setting boundaries and moving forward).
A malevolent force in your life, aware of the occult and intentionally taking actions against you. Perhaps a roguish figure who has two emotional lives that do not overlap. Avoid vices and scandal or people associated with them.
Its place in the deck.

King of Cups for Virgo in Health and Energy
The Analyst
Cups are the water suit, so the King of Cups sits in Cancer. Cancer sextiles Virgo, which is help that has to be taken up rather than help that arrives. What it asks for is this: say the feeling to the person it is about. Virgo is perfectly capable of that, which is exactly why not doing it needs a better excuse. Upright, this is the element used out in the world, at the cost of still feeling it.
When reading about health through a Virgo lens, the King of Cups says that you feel like your body is something to maintain according to plan, a thing you ignore until it stops working, and information you're always half-listening to. This has either led to you catching small problems early, or to ignoring major signals because you're too busy fixing everything else. The body has been sending the same signal for months and nobody has bothered to listen. The Virgo blind spot in it is the feeling of being useless, or of having wasted time on something that didn't hold up.
In practice that can look like wanting to be looked after. Whatever form it takes, it is being decided by whoever holds the authority.
