King of Cups for Virgo in Love and Relationships

The Analyst

Cups are the water suit, so the King of Cups sits in Cancer. Cancer sextiles Virgo, which is help that has to be taken up rather than help that arrives. What it asks for is this: say the feeling to the person it is about. Virgo is perfectly capable of that, which is exactly why not doing it needs a better excuse. Upright, this is the element used out in the world, at the cost of still feeling it.

When reading about relationships through a Virgo lens, the King of Cups says that you feel like your partner is someone whose life you can improve, a problem you can solve (or prevent), and a person you check on more than you check in with. This has either led to a partnership where you catch things before they break, or to your care feeling like an obligation nobody asked for. The thing you're not saying out loud is the thing that matters most. The Virgo blind spot in it is the feeling of being useless, or of having wasted time on something that didn't hold up.

In practice that can look like heartache, or an old love resurfacing. Whatever form it takes, it is being decided by whoever holds the authority.
