King of Cups for Virgo in Self and Identity

The Analyst

Cups are the water suit, so the King of Cups sits in Cancer. Cancer sextiles Virgo, which is help that has to be taken up rather than help that arrives. What it asks for is this: say the feeling to the person it is about. Virgo is perfectly capable of that, which is exactly why not doing it needs a better excuse. Upright, this is the element used out in the world, at the cost of still feeling it.

When reading about yourself through a Virgo lens, the King of Cups says that you feel like you are a collection of things that could be better, something you monitor constantly (or avoid looking at entirely), and a project that will never be finished. This has either led to genuine self-knowledge and the ability to catch yourself, or to a running list of failures you've memorized. You have been so focused on who you think you should be that you haven't checked in with who you actually are. The Virgo blind spot in it is the feeling of being useless, or of having wasted time on something that didn't hold up.

In practice that can look like liking yourself unexpectedly. Whatever form it takes, it is being decided by whoever holds the authority.
