The Hierophant for Virgo
The Analyst
Virgo is an Earth mutable sign ruled by Mercury, whose natural subject is work, routine, health, service, the daily how. Jupiter sits outside Virgo's usual Mercury register, so this one arrives as unfamiliar weather. Virgo is mutable: it adapts, and this is a card about beginning, so the start will be easy and the shape of it will keep changing. Upright, this is happening out in the visible world, where other people can see it and respond to it.
