You are placed in a situation where you need to be the financial leader. Either at work or in your personal life. You will be successful as you have all the tools and mastery to handle the job. This card can also mean someone in your life has true domain over wealth. Romantically this card means you need a partner who brings a mastery of finances to the table.
Someone in your life is using their wealth to hold power over you-- perhaps you are stuck in a job you dislike or perhaps you have a family member who is paying for something you need. Perhaps you are feeling a lack of generosity from others or from within yourself. Displays of wealth do not make you rich; being rich does not mean you are generous.

Pentacles are the earth suit, so the King of Pentacles sits in Capricorn. Capricorn sits directly opposite Cancer, so this card describes the half of the situation Cancer habitually hands to someone else. What it wants is this: change one concrete arrangement this week. Handing that to another person is exactly the habit. Upright, this is the element used out in the world, at the cost of still feeling it.
When reading about yourself through a Cancer lens, the King of Pentacles says that you feel like you are only acceptable when you are useful, your body is something that wants too much (or needs too much), and your own feelings are something to handle in private. This has either made you excellent at ignoring your own pain until it becomes a crisis, or taught you that being gentle with yourself is not selfish. You have been so focused on who you think you should be that you haven't checked in with who you actually are. The Cancer blind spot in it is being seen as a burden, or as someone whose needs are too much.
In practice that can look like a routine that finally sticks, or the body asking for the basics. Whatever form it takes, it is being decided by whoever holds the authority.
