Why do I keep pulling Seven of Pentacles as a Libra?

As a Libra, pulling Seven of Pentacles repeatedly suggests a focus on patience and investment. Balance, relationships, beauty, indecision. Pay attention to: choosing comfort over truth.

Seven of Pentaclesfor Libra

"Patience isn't the question. What you do next is."

Six quick picks first, then your reading

On the card

A young man, leaning on his staff, looks intently at seven pentacles attached to a clump of greenery on his right; one would say that these were his treasures and that his heart was there. Pentacles represent wealth and the seven card represents agency and mysticism. Together this card means tending to your own wealth and taking true agency over your own fortunes.

Upright

PatienceInvestmentLong-Term VisionAssessment

This card signifies a time of hard work, you are working towards your own goals and are laser focused on that. Building something great takes time and hard work. In a romantic sense it might mean that you should continue to get to know the person you are dating and put effort into the relationship. If you are single it might mean to focus on your own goals before dating someone new.

Reversed

You have been overly generous with your money or time. It has put a hard strain on your life and relationships. It could mean you are procrastinating (giving too much time to things that aren't as important). Know your own goals and move toward them at a steady pace.

One of the 56 Minor Arcana. They are about what is happening in ordinary life right now. Each belongs to one of four suits, numbered Ace to Ten, plus four court cards.

SuitPentacles · Earth

Pentacles are the suit of Earth: matter and time. A Pentacles card is always, underneath, about the body, the money, the calendar, the actual physical situation.

NumberSeven

The numbers tell a story inside each suit, from a seed at the Ace to the full expression at Ten. Seven is the private reckoning: assessment done alone, where self-deception is easiest.

Seven of Pentacles for Libra

The Harmonizer

Libra is an Air cardinal sign ruled by Venus, whose natural subject is partnership, contracts, the other person, open enemies. Pentacles are the earth suit, so the Seven of Pentacles sits in Capricorn. Capricorn squares Libra, so the card asks for the move Libra is least fluent in: change one concrete arrangement this week. The friction is the content, not an obstacle to it. Libra is cardinal: it starts things, and this card is in the middle, which is the part cardinal signs are worst at staying for. The card points at a material fact where the sign is built to think about it. The fact does not need more thinking. Upright, the assessment is being made alone, which is where it is easiest to be wrong.
