Seven of Pentaclesfor Libra · Work and Career
"Patience isn't the question. What you do next is."
Six quick picks first, then your reading
A young man, leaning on his staff, looks intently at seven pentacles attached to a clump of greenery on his right; one would say that these were his treasures and that his heart was there. Pentacles represent wealth and the seven card represents agency and mysticism. Together this card means tending to your own wealth and taking true agency over your own fortunes.
This card signifies a time of hard work, you are working towards your own goals and are laser focused on that. Building something great takes time and hard work. In a romantic sense it might mean that you should continue to get to know the person you are dating and put effort into the relationship. If you are single it might mean to focus on your own goals before dating someone new.
You have been overly generous with your money or time. It has put a hard strain on your life and relationships. It could mean you are procrastinating (giving too much time to things that aren't as important). Know your own goals and move toward them at a steady pace.

Seven of Pentacles for Libra in Work and Career
The Harmonizer
Pentacles are the earth suit, so the Seven of Pentacles sits in Capricorn. Capricorn squares Libra, so the card asks for the move Libra is least fluent in: change one concrete arrangement this week. The friction is the content, not an obstacle to it. Upright, the assessment is being made alone, which is where it is easiest to be wrong.
When reading about work through a Libra lens, the Seven of Pentacles says that you feel like work is a place to prove you can hold everyone's needs at once, a problem to solve without anyone feeling sidelined, and something that must look effortless even when it exhausts you. This has either led to you becoming the person everyone relies on and never quite gets to rely on in return, or to you quietly building something on your own terms while everyone else thought you were still deciding. You have not asked yourself what you actually want from this work, only what you think you should want from it. The Libra blind spot in it is being the one who breaks the tie, names the problem, or asks for something first.
In practice that can look like a promotion that is really more work. Whatever form it takes, it is being weighed alone, where it is easiest to lie to yourself.
