Someone (or yourself) is upholding the emotional wellbeing of you and those around you. A gentle forcefulness or protective energy around your heart. Unlike the queen of cups, the king represents a more active role (instead of nurturing/healing it's more about setting boundaries and moving forward).

A malevolent force in your life, aware of the occult and intentionally taking actions against you. Perhaps a roguish figure who has two emotional lives that do not overlap. Avoid vices and scandal or people associated with them.

King of Cups for Scorpio in The Future

The Transformer

Cups are the water suit, so the King of Cups sits in Scorpio. That makes this Scorpio's own card, so nothing in it is being read from the outside, and the flattering interpretation is the one to distrust. What it asks for is the thing Scorpio already believes it is good at: say the feeling to the person it is about. Upright, this is the element used out in the world, at the cost of still feeling it.

When reading about what comes next through a Scorpio lens, the King of Cups says that you feel like what you want is too important to say aloud, because speaking it makes it vulnerable (or makes it real), and something you will build in the dark and reveal only when it is already solid. This has either led to you achieving things quietly and completely, or to you never quite starting because the risk of being seen wanting something feels unbearable. You already know what comes next, and you are afraid of what it will cost you to get there. The Scorpio blind spot in it is the feeling of being fooled, or of being seen as naive, or of depending on someone who will leave.

In practice that can look like wanting something you had stopped admitting to, or a place that feels like home. Whatever form it takes, it is being decided by whoever holds the authority.
